None of us can ignore the plight of
the people in the Gulf Coast area.
Aggies have asked what we can do and we
want to respond now. We want to deliver
a coordinated, planned response from all
A&T Alumni.
The N.C. A&T Alumni Association is
formally announcing its Hurricane Fund
to support the needs of students and
families impacted by the Hurricane. The
goal is a total contribution of $50,000
to be collected by October 15th. The
N.C. A&T Alumni Association will
consolidate its giving with the
nationwide giving effort being managed
through the Tom Joyner Foundation.
We know that you are being solicited by
a number of organizations. As a
collective family, we know we can have
an impact in the lives of affected
people. We have demonstrated that in the
past when we had floods in the eastern
part of North Carolina in 2000.
We need you to make your donation count
now when people need it the most. We are
asking chapters to coordinate this
effort to support this drive so that our
support can have the greatest impact.
