1st All-Male Public School in NC

The high school classes are taught in NCA&TSU class rooms and the school principal and counselor are housed in a facility on A&T’s campus. Students have access to most of the university’s facilities, including the library, cafeteria and computer equipment. In addition, each student will be assigned an A&T student who will serve as a mentor, role model and big brother.

New Look for NCA&TSU

Chancellor James Renick has established an administration that has focused on transforming A&T from a good school to a great one! He is known among many as the Chancellor that is changing A&T . . . and the changes continue. On 10/16/03 North Carolina A&T State University unveiled a new AGGIE Mascot, A&T logo and a new website design in a formal ceremony and fashion show. Logon to http://www.ncat.edu/ to preview the new website. Visit NCA&TSU’s Bookstore website to purchase items with the new mascot and logo. http://www.ncatbookstore.com/catalog_products.asp?mscssid=1LWMCX90JHAC9GJRF13PF0EKW45E85WB.

New Aggie Mascot

The physical appearance of the A&T campus continues to change as well. A&T has unveiled designs for the “Millennium Campus.” In the near future, the campus will be transformed into a walking campus that will house new dormitories, bell tower, parking deck, commissioned art sculptures and a renovated science building and auditorium.
